Hardbat Athletics is a strength and conditioning gym in Newark, DE, offering adaptive fitness programming led by Owen Mathias, a coach with four years of experience and a lifetime connection to Special Olympics.
Owen's adaptive program serves athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities through three training formats: large group classes for community and energy, semi-private sessions for focused support, and one-on-one training for fully individualized programs. Each session is built around the athlete's specific needs, goals, and abilities — strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.
